the whole array of source servers on Optimus have not really been configured, because we never really had a great demand for any of the games(less then 3-4 people).  Now that it might be more popular, I can look into adding some mods/scripts in so that people are happy.

Just a thought but you might put up a list of basic commands for what ever mods/scripts you put on the server

so this gun game thing, is it just the script that is there on their site that runs on top of eventscripts or is that just a chunk of what I need to run it.

You need to download their eventscripts - Here.

Copy the files to the addons folder on your server:

../cstrike/addons/copy_the_files_here

Add eventscripts_subdirectory events to your autoexec.cfg
Add mattie_eventscripts 1 to either autoexec.cfg or server.cfg

Then download gun game....

Edit the es_gungame3.txt file for your own server.

Save it as /cstrike/addons/eventscripts/gungame3/es_gungame3.txt

Make sure this directory has read/write permissions (chmod 777 on Linux)

Add es_load gungame3 to your autoexec.cfg file.

Turbo mode will make it too fast and too easy.
