Steam at LANs

Postby Karunt on Tue Aug 01, 2006 8:04 am

How many people still play Steam games at our LANs or would like to see more steam games played.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot help small men by tearing down big men.
You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatreds.
You cannot establish security on borrowed money.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away a man's initiative and independence.
You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.

I try to play CS:S at almost every lan, but most of the time theres only 4 or 5 people in, and thats no fun. I know HL deathmatch would be played, because there have been multiple occasions where i have set up a server and played with several people. So, yeah. More Steam please.

Ah cs1.5 memories....scoutzknives, awpmap, iceworld, and of course oilrig.  Some of the funnest times I've ever had playing cs was in oilrig with everyone on the ct team dead except the VIP (gr8smart1).  Ranks right up there with the neverending UT2003 CTF match on Facing Worlds 3.
